More missionaries are needed to reach those who have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel in their own language.

Praise the Lord! He is meeting this need and raising up more missionaries than we have space to train.

To better equip the next generation of missionaries, Ethnos Canada is preparing to add a new building to our campus. The Emanate Centre will help in two ways—it will increase capacity and improve quality.

First things first—we need a team praying for this project. When you subscribe, please select “Emanate Prayer Updates”.

Note: Presently on Hold

“God’s work, done in God’s way, will never lack God’s supply.” —Hudson Taylor

In the same manner that we depend upon God for the finances needed for projects such as this one, we also depend on Him to guide and direct us in the implementation of the project (both in the planning and construction), always seeking to do His work in His way.

A large percentage of the persons enrolled in our training program are from outside Canada. Very recent information pertaining to the potential number of future foreign students has suggested it prudent that we give further thought to this new building before any actual construction begins. We have therefore put the project “on hold” while we reconsider future campus needs.

We value your prayer as we look to God for wisdom regarding the best facilities for the future training of church planting missionaries.

Training is essential for missionary candidates preparing to evangelize unreached people groups, translate the Scriptures and establish thriving churches. Your gifts towards the Emanate Centre will help tomorrow's missionaries thrive, not just survive.

      Thank you for your donation.

God is building His Church, and we are thrilled you are taking part. Through your support, we are making progress on our goal ... a thriving church for every people.

Possible delay in receiving your gift
It can take up to 10 days for Ethnos Canada to receive gifts given through the website, as there is a 'pending' period for credit cards. Only after your gift is received at our bank do we credit donations to the designated ministry. It is possible that an online donation made near the end of the month will not be credited to the designated ministry until the following month.

Increasing capacity to equip more missionaries

Our current facilities are simply too cramped. We don’t want to turn away missionaries because we don’t have the space.

The Emanate Centre will accommodate groups of 70 at time. Currently, the largest classroom only seats 25 students.

Improving quality of training for all these missionaries

Currently, the classrooms available to the training program are in three separate locations around the campus. Because of age, one of the current classrooms will not last much longer.

To compound the challenges, the team training these missionaries are using offices scattered between three separate buildings. Some trainers are even working out of their homes.

Bringing all of the classrooms and offices into one building will drastically increase the amount of quality time the trainers spend with their students.

God has blessed Ethnos Canada with a beautiful campus, covering more than 100 acres in rural Ontario.

Since 1968, we have been equipping believers for cross-cultural church planting on this property that previously was a church camp.

Throughout the year, there are a number of opportunities to visit the campus and learn what God is doing among unreached people groups, and how we help missionaries thrive, not just survive.
