Responsible for rehabilitating ill and injured patients.

General maintenance responsibilities on the center, plus be willing and able to teach citizen workers in maintenance skills. 

Responsible for oversight of the maintenance and building of facilities, center security, citizen employees, and NTM PNG members working in related departments. 

Construction, building maintenance and renovation projects are some of the responsibilities of this position.

To serve in an accounting ministry at the NTM PNG Highlands center.

To provide a caring and nurturing environment for boarding students.

Room and screen patients, record vital signs and chief complaint.    Perform medical procedures such as IV placements, suture removal, foley catheter, etc. Perform medical tests such as vision, hearing, and ECG tests. Assist physician with procedures such as minor surgeries.  Basic wound care/management.  Collect/process lab specimens. Provide patient discharge instructions and education. Complete patient charge forms when needed.     Answer emails and return phone calls- (triage training and materials are available). Clean and stock procedure and exam rooms. Maintain accurate and complete nursing notes in patient medical records. Other duties as assigned.

Curriculum development and lesson planning with Biblical integration.  Teach students in subjects assigned according to curriculum.  Appropriately manage classroom and student discipline.  Attendance required at staff meetings, in-services and school functions.

Upon arrival in PNG church planters begin with study of the national trade language and PNG culture.  After forming teams church planters move into villages, and begin an intense time of culture and language acquisition of the local language while building relationships among the people.

After reaching proficiency in the culture and language, church planters write Bible lessons and translate Old Testament portions and the New Testament into the local language.  This takes place while systematically teaching Bible lessons in order to build an understanding of God’s Word.  In most cases the church planting team is involved in literacy training.  The ongoing work of the church planter is to see new believers discipled and develop local church leadership.

1.    Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to capture, organize, centralize, archive, maintain and access current and future organization-wide information.  Train people to input and retrieve data.  This includes:
a)    Identify what information needs to be captured, both current and future.
b)    Identify the uses of that information.
c)    Develop methods to collect information.
d)    Develop methods for personnel to access relevant information.
2.    Coordinate completion and collection of timely and routine reports.
3.    Gather information from other organizations, NGOs and government agencies.
4.    Compile and maintain a detailed inventory of existing information resources.
5.    Regularly reassess information strategies in light of company priorities and goals as well as technology changes.
6.    Develop and maintain documentation in these areas.

• Be on call for medical emergencies.
• Be responsible for all medical decisions regarding routine and emergency care.
• In emergencies decide where to obtain the appropriate level of care.  Prepare the patient for transfer when required. This includes writing reports and notifying all appropriate individuals.
• Maintain regular clinic hours, as possible, with flexibility to allow for on call hours, medical evacuations, etc.
• Supervise all medical care provided by the medical clinic, including all nursing functions, lab and pharmacy functions.
•  Meet with NTM-PNG leadership periodically.

• Instruct students in accordance with curriculum and school policies.
• Attend all teacher and staff meetings, in-service days, planning meetings, etc. during times when school is not in session.
• Perform such non-teaching duties as may be requested by the administration such as oversight of daily afterschool cleaning by students, be advisor of a student organization, maintenance, coaching, etc.
