Some 6,000 Ga’dang people living in isolated villages spread over 60 square miles have no adequate, affordable access to emergency medical care. Because of the time and expense required, they usually will not even consider a trip to the nearest hospital, four to five hours away.
A mission helicopter is available for emergencies, and could slash travel time to the hospital. But each one-way flight costs $165 — far beyond the means of the Ga’dang people.
This project will fund emergency helicopter flights so the Ga’dang people can get to the hospital in less than one hour when it is necessary and offset some medical expenses.
How you’ll be helping
Save lives two ways. Your gift to this project will not only help the Ga’dang people receive medical care. You will be helping the missionary team to the Ga’dang people demonstrate the love and care of Christ, opening the door to the gospel, which opens the door to eternal life.
