Special Education Coordinator

Location: International School

Purpose: Educate the children of cross-cultural workers at Mountainview Christian School

Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the education of special needs students as they attend regular education classes

School Counselor

Location: International School

Purpose: Educate the children of cross-cultural workers at Mountainview Christian School

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group Christ-focused counseling to students at Mountainview Christian School.

Head of School (Director)

Location: International School

Purpose: The Head of School of MCS leads teams of teachers and support staff to educate primarily the children of Christian service families and others in an English-speaking, Christ-centered environment, at an affordable cost.

Responsibilities:

Requirements

    Masters Degree or higher in the Field of Education and some leadership experience. Native speaker of English. Achievement of national language competency within two years of employment. Sponsored by a recognized sending agency. must be under 55 years of age.

Cook

Location: Ethnos360 Bible Institute, Waukesha, WI

Purpose: To participate in the preparation of meals and orderly operation of the Food Service Department, thereby contributing to the proper function of EBI in its purpose of training believers in the Word of God.

Responsibilities: Understands and maintains the state requirements for operation of a food service establishment. Prepares food for the students and staff of EBI. Communicates pertinent information regarding daily operations to either the coordinator or a manager.  Prepares food in any area as directed in the absence of personnel.

Public Relations

Purpose: To glorify God and assist in establishing churches in PNG that are equipped for maturity and multiplication by effectively communicating NTM PNG’s purpose, vision, and values to the public and by communicating how people can be engaged in that work

Responsibilities:

·         Evaluate the current trends within communications and social media that could benefit the furthering of NTM-PNG’s goals.

·         Develop and coordinate NTM-PNG’s communications schedule to meet its goals. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of NTM-PNG current communications schedule, channels, and efforts. Make adjustments accordingly.

·         Proactive awareness of the goings-on within NTM-PNG in order to represent them.

·         Establish relationships with appropriate audiences in order to better achieve the goals of the Communications Team and to better connect with the needs of the audience.

·         Gather and develop stories/data/media

·         Act as spokesperson for NTM PNG as needed.

Graphic Designer

Purpose: To glorify God and assist in establishing churches in PNG that are equipped for maturity and multiplication by effectively communicating NTM PNG's purpose, vision, and values using graphic design skills that inspire, inform and captivate.

Responsibilities: Create and distribute relevant reports and media to various audiences with a view toward increasing awareness and engagement with NTM-PNG.

    Needs to have a background in Adobe Creative Programs, preferred experience in print production, podcast production social media and / or website management.

Carpenter/Builder

Location: Missionary Training Center, Missouri

Purpose: not listed

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with remodels of current housing/offices as needed (layout, framing, siding. Roofing, trim, drywall, acoustic ceilings)
  • Assist with new construction projects (both residential and commercial)
  • Concrete work- forming, pouring, finishing.
  • Assist with maintenance work requests when assigned
  • Oversee work detail students when assigned. Occasionally training in carpentry and building skills
  • Assist department with after-hours facility emergencies as needed.

Groundskeeper

Location: Missionary Training Center, Missouri

Responsibilities:

  • Work with grounds crew as needed in the following areas-
  1. Maintain lawns
  2. Mowing (both riding and push mowers)
  3. Pick up rocks, toys, trash, etc. for mowing safety
  4. Trim work (running a weed-eater)
  5. Round-up weed killer - 3 times yearly,
  • Organize snow removal and de-icing (prep work and supplies)

                  a) Main sidewalks

  • Help with road maintenance:

Home School Helper

Purpose: To glorify God and assist in establishing churches in PNG by working to support a NTM PNG homeschool family to educate their school-aged children.

Responsibilities:

Partner with an NTM-PNG homeschooling family serving in a tribal location to help educate their school-aged students, helping to facilitate transitioning, and academic growth of the students they teach. The Tribe-Based Homeschool Helper is a primary resource to the parents to help them carry out the education of their children on the mission field.

Duration: Preferred for a full school year, but shorter options could also be beneficial to a family.

Business Manager

Purpose: Our mission is to reach the unreached, plant and nurture churches that continually glorify God, and empower national leaders to do the same (Matthew 28:18-20). NTM PNG support missionaries are an essential part of the team that serves church planting families.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Business Manager at the NTM PNG main office. 
  • Lead NTM PNG Business Office; develop and manage policies, processes, procedures, ensure government compliance, oversee legal issues etc. 
  • Begin your ministry in PNG with culture and language training.

Senior School Mathematics Teacher (grades 9-12)

Location: International School

Purpose: To provide an excellent, Christ-centered international education that meets the highest academic standards and equips students to live out a biblical worldview in all areas of life to the glory of God.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a learning environment in which each child in the class is enabled to work.
  • Instructing the children per the school curriculum and best practices in teaching and learning
  • Maintaining discipline within the classroom to enable children to work and learn.
  • Maintaining the Christian ethos of the school within the classroom.
  • Creating and maintaining a classroom that is aesthetically pleasing and conducive to learning.
  • Attending and participating in staff prayer times.
  • Attending and participating in regular staff meetings and in-service trainings sponsored by the school, or in parent consultations and back-to-school nights.
  • Maintaining and submitting weekly lesson plans and assessment plans
  • Providing input into curriculum revision and unit plan development
  • Keeping records of children's progress as appropriate and providing written reports each term for the parents.
