Possible delay in receiving your gift
It can take up to 10 days for Ethnos Canada to receive gifts given through the website, as there is a 'pending' period for credit cards. Only after your gift is received at our bank do we credit donations to the designated ministry. It is possible that an online donation made near the end of the month will not be credited to the designated ministry until the following month.

          Why Ethnos?

          Learn what makes Ethnos distinct

          A Biblical Goal

Jesus commanded His followers to “make disciples of all nations”. If you think that means that planting churches among unreached people is a priority, serving with Ethnos is a great choice.

          Effective Ministry

In Ethnos, you’ll be part of a team that is establishing churches guided by proven methodologies and a well-thought-out model of what a maturing church should look like.

          Extensive Training

If you are given the opportunity today to plant a church in an unreached people group, do you know where to start … how to face the challenges ahead … and how to tell when the task is complete?

By unflinching determination we hazard our lives and gamble all for Christ until we have reached the last tribe regardless of where that tribe might be.

          • Equipping Missionaries in Canada
Emanate means “to flow out, issue or proceed; to send forth.” As light emanates from a light source, our graduates are sent out to shine the light of Christ unto the uttermost parts of the earth.
          • Prepared to Thrive: Training Future Church Planters
Ethnos’ training continues to prepare people for church planting in a cross-cultural context. Over the years, the training has been continually refined in order to more effectively achieve that goal of reaching the last people group.
          • Global Diversity — Spiritual Unity
In 1996, Debbie and I took our four children to Papua New Guinea to join the work there. I was 39, and God was going to expand my experience in ministry in many different ways. To this day I am very grateful for what I learned. From our marriage in 1981 to our moving overseas in 1995, our exposure to missions was pretty much from our American perspective. I quickly gained an appreciation for diversity of the team represented in […]
