What is Jungle Camp?
Every summer, our missionary candidates have two weeks to build a home in the bush. They then live in their home for four weeks as part of a practicum that teaches them many skills needed when planting a church in a remote and isolated people group. The practicum is called “Jungle Camp”. During the open house, you can see and explore the homes that the students have made.
“Our family had a wonderful time at Jungle Camp Open House! We enjoyed the activities and the wonderful grounds at Ethnos in Durham. However, most of all, we were impacted by meeting the missionary candidates themselves, seeing their commitment to sharing the gospel around the world, and being reminded that we are all ‘goers’ or ‘senders’.”
~ Heidi B.
