Student Teachers (Volunteer)

Location: International School

Purpose: Dakar Academy's vision is to produce well-rounded students, prepared for higher-level studies, whose Christian worldview permeates all aspects of their lives. Ethnos360 exists to assist the local church in planting churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities: Dakar Academy works with accredited Colleges to provide student intern placement for those working towards a degree in an Education field. This opportunity to serve as a volunteer student teacher is for Dakar Academy's central campus and also the west campus.

Speech Education Specialist

Location: International School

Purpose: Dakar Academy's vision is to produce well-rounded students, prepared for higher-level studies, whose Christian worldview permeates all aspects of their lives. Ethnos360 exists to assist the local church in planting churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities: Responsible for helping students with speech, language and communication disorders.

Director/Principal

Location: International School

Purpose: Dakar Academy's vision is to produce well-rounded students, prepared for higher-level studies, whose Christian worldview permeates all aspects of their lives. Ethnos360 exists to assist the local church in planting churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities: The Director/Principal of a K-8 Campus is responsible for the spiritual, academic, physical and social welfare of the Academy.  He/she is the administrative head of the Academy and oversees the proper and efficient operation of that Academy.

Requirements

    Master's Degree in education administration or educational leadership. (preferred) Principal/administrative certificate. (State or ACSI) Thorough knowledge of best practices. Leads with a high degree of professionalism and integrity. Adheres to the school's procedures and policies. Excellent organization and communication skills. Evangelical Christian.

Principal

Location: International School

Purpose: Dakar Academy's vision is to produce well-rounded students, prepared for higher-level studies, whose Christian worldview permeates all aspects of their lives. Ethnos360 exists to assist the local church in planting churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities: The principal is responsible for the effective implementation of programs and services geared toward students.  This includes selection, training, scheduling and evaluation of teaching staff.  The principal also contributes to other aspects of campus operation including emergency management, professional development, monitoring student progress, standardized testing implementation, and other duties as assigned.

Boarding Parents

Location: International School

Purpose: Dakar Academy offers family-style homes within the school’s secure, walled-in campus. Each home is led by a married couple whose full-time responsibility is the care and nurture of the students in their home.

Responsibilities: The care and nurture of boarding students.

Requirements

    Must be a born-again Christian for a minimum of three years and demonstrate a Christ-like testimony. Married couple will have been married at least one year and demonstrate a good marriage. Must sign: DA Statement of Faith DA Staff Expectations Agreement DA Boarding Philosophy. Family histories of both spouses, childhood to the present, must be taken into consideration. Must be supportive of the boarding school concept; must have a call or strong sense of commitment to children and an enjoyment of being with them.

HSD French Teacher

Location: Faith Academy, Manila

Purpose: The purpose of Faith Academy is to provide quality, Christ-centered education for children, most of whom are children of missionaries. Ethnos360 exists to assist the local church to plant mature churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities: To teach French to secondary students.

Requirements

Accountant

Location: Field Office, Highlands

Purpose: The purpose of NTM PNG is to plant tribal churches. To that end, NTM PNG must provide a quality Christ-centered support structure to enable this purpose. NTM PNG support missionaries are an essential part of the team that serves tribal church planting families.

Responsibilities: To serve in an accounting ministry at the NTM PNG headquarters.

    Bachelor's degree in business or accounting or equivalent training. Patience and willingness to learn NetSuite and to understand our support processes. Maintain a growing relationship with Christ and a willingness to work with a diverse team.

ESD Classroom Teachers

Location: Faith Academy, Manila

Purpose: The purpose of Faith Academy is to provide quality, Christ-centered education for children, most of whom are children of missionaries. Ethnos360 exists to assist the local church to plant mature churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities: To teach elementary students.

MSD English Teacher

Location: Faith Academy, Manila

Purpose: The purpose of the school is to equip students for life through academic excellence and the development of Christian faith and character; enabling them to live out that truth in every area of their lives. The purpose of Ethnos360 is to assist the local church in planting churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities: To teach English to middle school students.

HSD Social Studies Teacher

Location: Faith Academy, Manila

Purpose: To provide quality, Christ-centered education for children, most of whom are children of missionaries. Ethnos360 exists to assist the local church to plant mature churches among least reached people groups

Responsibilities: To teach Social Studies to High School Students.

Middle School Teacher

Location: Missionary Children's School

Purpose: To expand the reach of the gospel in Brazil by teaching missionary children. Small class sizes at this school along the Amazon make it a great way to invest in children and expand the reach of the gospel.

Responsibilities: Teach a variety of subjects for Grades 7 and 8

Boarding Home Parents

Location: Missionary Children's School

Purpose: To care for boarding students. The purpose of the school is to assist the church planting effort among unreached people in Brazil by teaching missionary children at a remote school located along a major river.

Responsibilities: To provide a caring nurturing environment for boarding students.

Requirements

    Solid growing relationship with the Lord. Display good parenting skills and have a genuine concern for the well being of the children under their care. Are approachable and have a sense of humor.
