SUPPORT INDIGENOUS MINISTRIES IN CANADA

Missionaries serving in isolated communities require the assistance of others so they can live there and focus on their ministries. These teammates perform services such as providing leadership, administration and consultation help.

Gifts to Indigenous Ministries are used in the most strategic way to support the work of missionaries serving indigenous people in Canada.

God is building His Church, and we are thrilled you are taking part. Through your support, we are making progress on our goal ... a thriving church for every people.

Possible delay in receiving your gift
It can take up to 10 days for Ethnos Canada to receive gifts given through the website, as there is a 'pending' period for credit cards. Only after your gift is received at our bank do we credit donations to the designated ministry. It is possible that an online donation made near the end of the month will not be credited to the designated ministry until the following month.

Have you ever seen flowers in full bloom while there is still snow on the ground? It is quite a sight! Nearly shocking. In June, while the winter snow is melting and bare patches of land begin to show, small areas of bright purple appear. Its contrast against the dirty snow and rocks is breathtaking. The shock is quickly washed away with excitement—the arrival of the Purple Saxifrage is a promise of summer on its way! And a bonus, they […]
      • Living a Gospel Worth Observing
Over the last few years, the team living in the Arctic has begun to learn about Inuit Qaujimatuqangit (IQ) Principles. These principles, consisting of traditional Inuit knowledge and values, are foundational to community life. The principles are often posted on signs in public places such as the elders’ hall, community gathering places, and places of employment. These signs serve as reminders of the guiding Inuit values that impact daily life. One such IQ Principle is Pilimmaksarniq/Pijariuqsarniq – learning through observation. We’ve experienced […]

Did you know that the Bible is translated into Inuktitut? In March we went to a funeral, and it was for someone you might find interesting. Jonas Allooloo was a quiet, older gentleman who we would sometimes see around town. He was unwell for most of our time up here, so we never got to sit down with him and hear about his life and testimony personally, but we always enjoyed our brief encounters with him between his medical trips […]
