      Guesthouse Managers

      Jacob and Beth serve as guesthouse managers in Papua New Guinea. Jacob also trains Papua New Guinean carpenters in the centre’s carpentry shop and assists with construction and maintenance projects.

      Together, they oversee national co-workers who cook, clean, maintain the gardens, shop, and transport guests. The guesthouse welcomes short-term work teams, vision-trip participants and families visiting missionaries. By providing a welcoming, well-run place to stay, the Devines support missionaries and ministry teams serving throughout Papua New Guinea.

      The Devines are currently visiting relatives, friends and supporting churches in North America. They look forward to returning to Papua New Guinea in July 2027. Jonathan is eager to rejoin his classmates at Numonohi Christian Academy for Grade 9, while Naomi is excited to return to her friends in Grade 5.
