Arrive at Nipawin Bible College, Nipawin, SK Sunday, August 16, 2026 (afternoon/evening). - Pick-up and drop-offs can be arranged along the route.

Travel to our beautiful Ethnos Campus in Durham, Ontario by highway coach from Nipawin, SK (pick-ups available along the route). Once you are at the campus you will participate in our Off The Grid experience for three days.
During Off The Grid you will stay with other attendees in house built by missionary trainees. These unique houses are made from cedar poles, plastic, and duct tape. Discover what it’s like to live off the grid with no electricity, in preparation for cross-cultural missions.
For the remainder of the week, you will stay in a student apartment (with all the conveniences).
There is also a one-day trip planned to Canada’s Wonderland, Toronto, Ontario.
Discover God’s heart for the nations and the role that He has for you in fulfilling the Great Commission.
This is a missions experience suited for high schoolers, college students, adults, and church leaders. The minimum age for a youth attending as part of a group (without a parent/guardian) is age 16.

What is Off The Grid?
Off The Grid is a fun-filled missions weekend designed to help you grow in your understanding of God’s work in our world and His passion to see the unreached know Him.
Come and stay off the grid in a “Jungle Camp” house. Every summer, our missionary candidates have two weeks to build a home in the bush. They then live in their home for four weeks as part of a practicum that teaches them many skills needed when planting a church in a remote and isolated people group. The practicum is called “Jungle Camp”.
Experience informative and interactive teaching sessions, campfires, missionary testimonies, great food, and time spent with others in a unique environment.
Our teaching sessions include learning of God’s faithfulness in missions throughout the years. How God is working today. What is left to do. What does it take to reach an unreached people group. Interactive language challenges. Teamwork in Missions. And much more… Come and discover what role you can have in helping complete the Great Commission.
This is a missions experience suited for college students (age 18 and older), adults, and church leaders.
Cost
$870.00 per person (subject to change pending bus charter costs, increase in fuel prices, etc.)
Payment due upon registration.
Inclusive of return transportation from Nipawin, SK to Durham, ON (and return transportation from Durham, ON to Canada’s Wonderland, Toronto, ON); all meals and accommodations at the Ethnos Campus in Durham; Off-The-Grid program registration; travel insurance*.
NOTE 1: Expenses have been underwritten by Ethnos Canada to reduce the cost of the trip.

*Travel Insurance Separate applications must be provided for each person. This insurance is for Saskatchewan residents only.
Additional Expenses:
Each person will be responsible for their own meals on the trip from Nipawin to Durham and on the return trip from Durham to Nipawin.
Each person will be responsible for their own meals on the day we visit Canada’s Wonderland. Most likely you will also want spending money for the day as well.
What Do I Need To Bring?
- Valid Provincial Health Card
- Bible, Pen (notebook will be provided)
- Spending Money (especially for Canada’s Wonderland)
- Warm clothing/jacket (it can get cool during the day, but especially at night, evenings and mornings)
- Shoes suitable for outdoor living and walking
- Sleeping Bag & Pillow
- Some sort of camping mattress/pad if you have one
- Bathing suit – there is a beach and good swimming if it’s warm
- Towel
- Personal clothing
- Toiletries
- Flashlight
