This is a huge undertaking, especially in a remote location where building supplies have to be brought in on chartered trucks. However, the congregation has been encouraged by God’s provision so far, and continues to move ahead in faith.

Help local believers construct their church building in a remote mountain village. The church had been meeting in one of the missionaries' homes, until the congregation outgrew the house! They are currently meeting in a temporary shelter with a tarp roof, but they dream of a sturdy structure which will stay dry in rainy season and will be spacious enough to host the whole village for Christmas celebrations and special services. This is no idle dream. The congregation has worked hard to clear the land, haul rocks and sand, pour a foundation, make their own concrete blocks, and lay the blocks to form walls. The men have decided to set aside one week per month to work on this project, without receiving any compensation. The women of the congregation faithfully provide refreshments to the men who are working, and have helped out with some of the labour as well. Even the children have taken part in various stages of the work as they are able!
