Donations to the Morop Team Fund will be used to construct a building where the Morop church will gather.

As the Morop church continues to grow, we see the need for a proper church and multi-purpose ministry building. Until now, we’ve been meeting in a former co-worker’s house, which isn’t suited for large gatherings. This house will soon be used by the new kindergarten teacher as his living quarters and classroom. The Morop believers have been faithfully collecting offerings for many years, and the community has generously given a plot of land for the church. In May, we cut and began drying wood for construction. So far, the offerings have covered fuel for the chainsaw, fees for trees and land use, and labour for cutting and carrying the wood. The next steps are to clear the land, purchase hardware from town, and hire skilled builders for framing and construction.

Possible delay in receiving your gift
It can take up to 10 days for Ethnos Canada to receive gifts given through the website, as there is a 'pending' period for credit cards. Only after your gift is received at our bank do we credit donations to the designated ministry. It is possible that an online donation made near the end of the month will not be credited to the designated ministry until the following month.

Gifts to the Bible Translation Fund not only ensure that an accurate and easy to read Bible is produced, but donations also fund a literacy program and Bible lessons, so that people can read and understand the God’s Word.
Your gift will help national missionaries achieve their goal of reaching more people with the gospel, by equipping them for effective ministry. For 80 years we’ve been working worldwide, but many challenges, both political and religious, prevent us from sending Ethnos missionaries to every people group that lacks a thriving church. And there’s one answer to all of…
