    Most Inuit in Canada’s Far North have yet to hear a clear presentation of the gospel and many remote communities still have no thriving church. They are a people without hope. One example is “T”. While on a hunting trip with Rob last winter, this young man fled in terror from shadow figures in the night, believing they were spirits of his ancestors. Ethnos Canada is moving forward with our plan to plant thriving churches in remote Inuit communities: 1. Strategic Placement of Missionaries 2. Learn the Culture and Language 3.       One example is “T”. While on a hunting trip with Rob last winter, this young man fled in terror from shadow figures in the night, believing they were spirits of his ancestors.

      Ethnos Canada is moving forward with our plan to plant thriving churches in remote Inuit communities:

      1. Strategic Placement of Missionaries
      2. Learn the Culture and Language
      3. Present the Light of the Gospel

      The next step is a multi-location Ministry Opportunity Assessment, or MOA (also known as a people group assessment). The MOA will span nine villages in Arctic Canada. Once complete, it will indicate how many missionaries are needed and which locations are most favourable for their placement. Missionaries can then begin the process of culture and language acquisition, leading to a presentation of Truth in those locations.

      How You’ll Be Helping

      This multi-location MOA is necessary for the strategic placement of missionaries. The $115,500 needed to complete the assessment will allow the team to include all nine villages in Arctic Canada. Once the MOA is complete, missionaries can be allocated strategically. They can then begin the process of culture and language acquisition, leading to a presentation of Truth in those locations.
