IT Project Manager

Location: Home Office, Sanford, FL

Purpose: The IT Project Manager coordinates with the IT Leadership team to plan, prioritize, and coordinate IT projects that will meet the needs of the IT Division. The Project Manager works closely with IT staff, other Ethnos360 staff, and vendors to bring projects from start to completion. The IT Project Manager works with the Director of IT and the IT Leadership Team to develop strategies and procedures to execute IT projects. This Project Manager ensures the efficient execution of projects in the IT division, both at the enterprise and department level. This Project Manager plays an important role in supporting Ethnos360’s goal of planting mature churches among least-reached people groups around the world by ensuring that Ethnos360 members can minister effectively, unhindered by technical issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the IT Leadership Team in developing both short-term and long-term strategies related to the Information Technology Division’s use of project management
  • Provides resource allocation guidance to the IT Leadership Team as they prioritize projects for Ethnos360 IT
  • Serves as a project manager for major enterprise projects that Ethnos360 IT is completing
  • Works with department and center directors to plan and execute projects under their purview
  • Works to establish and enforce organizational standards related to task and project management
  • Works with project teams to ensure that tasks are being completed on schedule
  • Escalates roadblocks and staff performance issues to IT Directors, when needed
  • Facilitates regular project planning and status meetings for assigned projects
  • Works to promote a culture of teamwork, cooperation, enthusiasm, and customer service among IT Team members
  • Engages with vendor representatives to create and coordinate appropriate time expectations for project tasks
  • Regularly meets with the Director of IT to report on the efficiency of IT project management and to provide updates on specific project statuses
  • Facilitates any necessary training for staff related to task management and project completion

Help Desk Support Technician

Purpose: The Helpdesk Support Technician provides hardware and software support for Ethnos360 members in the USA and worldwide. The Helpdesk Support Technician also invests time each day on projects that advance the IT needs of Ethnos360. The Helpdesk Support Technician plays an important role in supporting Ethnos360’s goal of planting mature churches among least reached people groups around the world by ensuring that Ethnos360 members are able to minister effectively, unhindered by technical issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to assigned tickets and tasks in a timely manner
  • Elevates help desk tickets to senior support technicians and IT specialists when appropriate
  • Keeps current with best practices relating to customer care and user support
  • Updates or creates existing instructional documentation as needed
  • Maintains an understanding of Windows 11, Office 365, and Microsoft applications
  • Maintains an understanding of Windows accounts and Outlook profiles.
  • Maintains an understanding of Remote Monitoring and Management software used by the team (such as NinjaOne, Quick Assist, and Microsoft Teams) for end-user remote support
  • Keeps current with existing Help Desk articles, solutions, and canned responses and use when appropriate

Cybersecurity Analyst

Purpose: The Cybersecurity Analyst works in partnership with the Cybersecurity and Compliance Officer in responding to security and compliance related issues and inquiries. This role is to monitor, detect, and investigate security incidents as directed by the Cybersecurity and Compliance Officer. This role contributes to the proper function of Ethnos360 as it assists the local church in planting mature churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively monitors network, systems, and applications for unusual or suspicious activities
  • Reviews, investigates, and responds to security alerts generated by security tools used by Ethnos360
  • Analyzes logs from various IT Infrastructure and IT Application resources to detect potential security incidents or anomalies
  • Monitors network traffic for signs of unauthorized access, malware, or other threats
  • Identifies and classifies security incidents based on severity and potential impact
  • Executes predefined containment strategies to minimize damage during a security incident
  • Escalates more severe incidents for root cause analysis to understand attack vector, tactics, and objectives of an incident
  • Assists in removal of malware or other threats from infected systems and in restoring normal operations
  • Stays updated on latest cybersecurity threats and attack trends
  • Works with the IT Division to prioritize mitigation of identified vulnerabilities
  • Helps to enforce Ethnos360 cybersecurity policies and ensures compliance with approved frameworks
  • Assists in planned internal or external audits to ensure security controls are being well maintained

Senior Systems Administrator

Purpose: This ministry role is responsible for leading the maintenance and support of all Ethnos360 on-premises systems and infrastructure in collaboration with Infrastructure team members. This includes managing and maintaining the Home Office datacenter and handling issues escalated through help desk requests. The individual in this ministry role will assist in creating and implementing policies and procedures consistent with Ethnos360 goals, industry best practices, and other regulatory requirements. This ministry contributes to the proper function of Ethnos360 as we assist the local church in planting mature churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Configures, maintains, supports, and troubleshoots system upgrades and integrations on Windows servers 2012 R2, 2016, 2022. Technologies may include Exchange 2013 Hybrid, Active Directory (on Prem), DNS, DHCP, Cisco Umbrella, EMC SAN, SQL Server, ManageEngine OpManager 
  • Administers, monitors, and maintains end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage in accordance with best practices in security, privacy, and regulatory compliance 
  • Routinely performs and tests system backups and restores using Synology Active Backup for Business (ABB) 
  • Anticipates, identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware and software problems on servers and EMC SAN 
  • Provides a timely response to Ethnos360 customer escalations for server issues 
  • Performs file system configuration, administration, monitoring and maintenance  
  • Deploys or installs patches and updates to the operating systems as well as the firmware on the datacenter infrastructure including UPSs, servers, and Cisco UCS chassis

Senior Network Engineer

Location: Home Office, Sanford, FL

Purpose: This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of network information systems. This may include the research, coordination, configuration, testing, and documenting components for data, wireless, video, and voice networks that are used across Ethnos360 US locations. This role contributes to the proper function of Ethnos360 as it assists the local church in planting mature churches among least reached people groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management/maintenance/support and monitoring of the organization’s networking infrastructure and systems (LAN, WAN communications, switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, wireless systems, etc.)
  • Troubleshoots technology related problems that may include carrier issues, routing and switching issues, datacenter performance, packet loss, latency issues, system connectivity and hardware failures
  • Evaluates, designs and implements new networking configuration to meet business objectives as required.
  • Follows standard administrative processes, and procedures for supporting production environments
  • Leads network disaster recovery initiatives as required
  • Assures that network security best practices are implemented and maintained to ensure business security and systems continuity by working closely with the IT Operations team to implement proper hardware, software, configurations as required.

HVA/C TECHNICIAN, THE HOMES OF ETHNOS360

Location: Ethnos360 Retirement Homes, Sanford, FL

Purpose: The purpose of this position is to maintain and repair the Air conditioning on facilities of The Homes of Ethnos360. The Homes exists to provide a nurturing and caring environment, attempting to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of its residents, with staff and facility capabilities.

Responsibilities: Understand AC theory well enough to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair AC units on Ethnos360 property. Supervise volunteer workers. As needed, assist in concrete work, preparation for severe weather, setting up for events, and helping residents with small personal projects. Other duties as assigned.

MECHANIC, THE HOMES OF ETHNOS360

Location: Homes of Ethnos360 Staff

Purpose: The purpose of this position is to maintain The Homes vehicles and other mechanical equipment. The Homes exists to provide a nurturing and caring environment, attempting to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of its residents, with staff and facility capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Maintain The Homes ministry vehicles and mechanical equipment. Assist with the operation of the above-mentioned equipment as schedule allows. Maintain The Homes air conditioning systems. Organize the garage. Maintain the tools, stock of supplies, and maintenance records. Other duties as assigned.

Aviation IT Director

Location: Ethnos360 Aviation Home Office, McNeal AZ

Purpose: The Aviation IT Director manages and maintains the IT resources at Ethnos360 Aviation. This role ensures that Ethnos360 Aviation is able to accomplish its purpose of advancing the spread of the Gospel through aviation to see a thriving church for every people.

Responsibilities:

It is the responsibility of the individual in this role to coordinate with the IT Division Function groups to fulfill the following IT functions at their center: Backup & Recovery, Cloud Services, Communication Tools, Endpoint Management, Help Desk, Identity Management, Networking, and Server & Data Center. They are also responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of Finance, Leadership, Project Management, and User Training at Ethnos360 Aviation.

Cook

Location: Ethnos360 Bible Institute, Waukesha, WI

Purpose: To participate in the preparation of meals and orderly operation of the Food Service Department, thereby contributing to the proper function of EBI in its purpose of training believers in the Word of God.

Responsibilities: Understands and maintains the state requirements for operation of a food service establishment. Prepares food for the students and staff of EBI. Communicates pertinent information regarding daily operations to either the coordinator or a manager.  Prepares food in any area as directed in the absence of personnel.

Groundskeeper

REGISTERED NURSE, THE HOMES OF ETHNOS360

Location: Ethnos360 Retirement Homes, Sanford, FL

Purpose: The Registered Nurse provides services as permitted by law which unlicensed personal care attendants are not permitted to provide. Due to her greater level of training, she provides a higher level of medical expertise and oversight of residents’ general health needs in the ALF than an unlicensed personal care attendant is able to provide.

Responsibilities:

The RN's primary role is that of Personal Care Attendant.  Additional responsibilities that the RN license allows include: 

  • Perform the initial training and updates for ALF staff assisting with medications.  Possibly other initial staff training as well.
  • Instruct personal care staff “in-services” on topics such as personal hygiene, infection control, geriatric care, medication assistance, etc.
  • Oversee the Annual TB screening at NTM Homes to include training nurses, obtaining the script from the doctor and record keeping.
  • Administer medications in accordance with a health care provider's order or prescription label and document all occurrences of medication administration.
  • Communicate with health care professional staff by phone and/or fax regarding new or revised medication orders.  Follow up on medication orders and changes.
  • Manage pill organizers to be used only by residents who self-administer medications.  Instruct the resident in the proper use of the pill organizer.
  • Administer and regulate portable oxygen.
  • Assist with routine colostomy care.
  • Assist and monitor the application of anti-embolism stockings or hosiery.
  • Give prepackaged enemas pursuant to a physician's order.
  • Take or supervise the taking of vital signs along with appropriate documentation.   Maintain a monthly ALF resident record of weight, blood pressure, and pulse rate. 
  • Conduct weekly blood pressure clinic for ALF residents, retirees in independent housing and volunteers.
  • Administer TB tests and read the results of said tests during annual staff TB screening.
  • Fulfill Continuing Education Units as required by law to maintain your professional active RN license.
  • Assist the Administrator in evaluating continued residency criteria.  Decisions about changes, actions or inaction in resident healthcare should be made in conjunction with the other nursing staff.  We like to use the “team” approach in decision making, valuing each member’s input.
